  • A daily/weekly breakdown of what is being covered in each class.  Just select the classwork/homework link on the dropdown menu for your class and you will see a summary of what was covered. This will help students stay up-to-date even in the event of an absence.

OIHS Model UN Students at the 2012 CPS Global Classrooms Model UN Conference (Illinois Institute of Technology)
Six of our students did outstanding work in the UN Environmental Programme, where they discussed ways to reduce deforestation. These students took the lead engaging the committee in compelling speeches, presented undeniable arguments during debate, and initiated innovative resolutions to reduce the problem of deforestation as a global community by saving “one tree at a time.” Please join us in congratulating Morgan Smith, Brianna Jones, Rene Diaz, Taylor Bradford, Amanda Medendorp, and Benjamin Ng, who brought back 6 honorable mentions for OIHS!
